Controloc 20 mg contains Pantoprazole and is used for the treatment of heartburn, acid reflux, gastric ulcers, and duodenal ulcers.

It belongs to the proton pump inhibitor (PPI) class and works by reducing stomach acid production, helping relieve acidity symptoms and heal gastrointestinal inflammation and ulcers.

Indications

Treatment of heartburn and acid indigestion

Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)

Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers

Reduction of stomach acid secretion

Helps treat reflux-related esophagitis

Warnings

Use as directed by a physician or pharmacist

Do not exceed the recommended dose

Use cautiously in patients with liver disease

Long-term use may lead to deficiency of certain vitamins and minerals such as vitamin B12 and magnesium

Preferably take before meals

Consult a physician if symptoms persist or worsen

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only after medical consultation

Store in a dry place away from heat and moisture
