Product Description

Amrizole IV Solution contains Metronidazole, an antibacterial and antiprotozoal agent used to treat infections caused by anaerobic bacteria and susceptible parasites. It is also used for surgical infection prophylaxis.

Indications

Anaerobic bacterial infections.

Amoebiasis.

Giardiasis.

Intra-abdominal infections.

Pelvic infections.

Severe dental infections.

Prevention of postoperative infections.

Directions for Use

Administer by intravenous infusion under the supervision of a healthcare professional. Dosage depends on the patient’s condition.

Warnings

Use only under medical supervision.

Avoid alcohol during treatment and for at least 48 hours after completion.

Use cautiously in patients with liver impairment.

May cause dizziness or headache.

Keep out of reach of children.
