Feburic 40 mg contains Febuxostat, a xanthine oxidase inhibitor used to lower uric acid levels in patients with chronic gout.

It helps prevent urate crystal formation and reduces the frequency of gout attacks.

Indications

Chronic gout

Hyperuricemia (high uric acid levels)

Prevention of urate crystal deposition

Reduction of recurrent gout attacks

Warnings

Use under medical supervision

Gout attacks may temporarily increase at the beginning of treatment

Monitor uric acid levels regularly

Use cautiously in patients with liver or cardiovascular disease

Not intended for treatment of acute gout attacks
